Miso soup is a great soup to make if you’re looking for something light, tasty, and healthy. While it may seem like a hassle, these days it is more easy to find already made broths, pastes, and flavors from your local store or even Amazon.

My absolute favorite go-to miso product is Hikari Organic Dashi Miso Paste with Bonito and Kelp Stock. It tastes almost exactly like the traditional miso soups you may enjoy in restaurants. I use it in this recipe, but you can also substitute it with another variety of miso paste.

Is this recipe healthy? You bet! Miso is incredibly healthy, helping with digestion to reverse bloating, strengthening your immune system, and may reduce the risk of certain cancers.

And is it tasty? Yes! It is a wonderfully salty-sweet rich broth, and with the pair of shrimp and codfish, it’s lifted to a whole other level.

Let me know in the comments below if you tried the recipe and if you have any variations you’d like to share! 🙂
